ROBIN C. BECKER, PMHNP-BC

Board Certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner

Robin’s primary interests include treating mental health disorders with a combination of pharmacologic and non-pharmacologic interventions. She specializes in treating a wide range of psychiatric conditions including depression, anxiety, panic disorders, obsessive-compulsive disorder (OCD), bipolar and mood disorders, attention deficit hyperactivity disorder (ADHD), and schizophrenia. Robin believes in a holistic approach to mental health care, including screening, assessment, and care coordination. She focuses on supporting her clients in achieving their optimal level of functioning through a multifaceted approach, including education about healthy lifestyle, coping mechanisms, and accessing community resources. 

 

Robin has worked in a variety of mental health environments across Montana including Shodair Children’s Hospital, Montana State Hospital, St. Peter’s Behavioral Health Unit, and Montana Department of Corrections. Her diverse work history has provided invaluable experience in treating clients from different cultures and across the lifespan.

Robin Becker obtained her Bachelor of Arts in nursing from Carroll College in 2007. She worked as a psychiatric registered nurse (RN) for eight years.  While working as an RN, she witnessed the desperate need for better access to quality mental health services in Montana. With this need in mind, she returned to school and earned a Master of Nursing degree from Montana State University in 2015. She has been practicing in Butte since 2016.
